Big Texas Nights

Hey folks. Youre in for a real treat. One of Texas' premier songwriters and entertainers will be stopping by the Stafford for one night only. Mark Jungers will be in tow with the Mules to bring you some tunes. If you like pure Americana and true Texas music, you won't wanna miss this night. Mark frequently shares the stage with Adam Carroll, Fred Eaglesmith, Susan Gibson, and the such!

Opening the night will be another rare treat, Slim Bawb and GatorBait. If you are a fan of cajun zydeco, Americana, roots rock, or all of the above, then you'll like what you hear. They bring their eclectic blend of sounds into the Stafford.

As always, FREE SHOW. No cover, No excuses. Stafford has $2 wells all night long. Help us keep this series going. Please come support live original music in the B/CS!

Sideshow Tramps

The Sideshow Tramps exist for those who wish that the Sex Pistols, AC/DC and Led Zepplin had formed a band together with Bob Dylan and Tom Waits. They hit their audiences with a powerful high-energy show that earned them “best stage act” from the Houston Press Music Awards.
Hayes Carll, fan of the band, says, “I used to come out and watch them play at Helios all the time. I have never seen anything like it.”
John Nova Lomax music editor of the Houston Press, says: “Both their album and live shows find folk styles from everywhere, from New Orleans, to west Virginia, to Minsk… one of those dissolute trips to the gypsy sin palaces.”
Hank Schyma (Southern Backtones) “This band makes people drink, dance and f*#k!”

The progression of time allowed The Stafford to evolve into a silent film theater, to complete the circle it is now being re-opened as a live music venue with a whole different sound. Patrons can enjoy a unique blend of history, comfort, industrialization and a large variety of new and established talent.
